Just us being happy we left the kids home.

Flying like a bird down the ZIP line!

This is the Alpine Coaster. Rick and I both liked it best!
This is also the ride that Rick lost his phone on.

Getting ready to race Rick down the Alpine Slide...
I won!

The lines were long so i tried to stay cool in the shade
not sure if this guy was aware of me or not.

Us at the end of a long day of playing
Sorry I'm not so good at the blah, blah, blah-ing. The important thing is that we had a great time celebrating and we look forward to the next 10 years.

One of those days

Any guesses on what this is?
Well, ya know how kids love to scoot on their bums down the stairs...
My sweet little Hannah surely left her mark today!
She hasn't figured out the potty and hates to wear a diaper. She took care of business and then took her diaper off. She was searching through the house caring her stinky diaper with her trying to find me. When she couldn't find me upstairs, she went looking downstairs. I was in the garage feeding the cats. When I came in I found her on the stairs. Potty training is the best birth control ever! I got the big chunks out first and then drug out the carpet cleaner. I am so glad I have that thing! It is great for cleaning but then someone (me) has to then clean the cleaner. I'm not sure if it saves me any time but it makes me feel like it gets the job done right. Funny thing is I just had my carpets cleaned last week.

What has Rick been up to?

Rick has been a very busy bee lately! He now works from home! This is huge for us. I have been known to call myself a computer widow for quite some time now. Lets just say that Rick has worked his butt off for the last 10 years so he can be his own boss. Well, he has finally trained enough programmers and hired a manager to take his spot at the office. Not to worry, Rick is still an owner and still works for Send Out Cards. The only person he is in charge of is himself, which he loves! He loves being able to work when and where he wants. I love it too. It is soooo nice to have him home. The hard part is trying to work when the kids want to play. I find myself trying to get more done around the house cuz I don't want Rick to think I take it easy everyday. I can no longer say Rick gets home too late to cook dinner, time dust the cookbooks off. I'm actually excited to have family dinner everynight!

Even though Rick has been home more he has been pretty busy. Our old house which we now call the rental has taken a lot of his time. We added a bathroom and 2 rooms downstairs and added radient heating in the floor. Last on his list is to install a sprinkler system so the tennants don't keep killing the grass!

These pictures are from a hike Rick did with some of his buddies last weekend. I like to hike but not like these guys do. Rick said this hike was hard for him even. I'm a complainer too! Rick lets me do so many fun things with my friends so I figure hiking is great for the guy time fun. He always has a blast and yes I make him take pictures for proof;) Just kidding

ROBOT DAD FOR A DAY!

Well, maybe the hike was a bit too much for Rick. This is Robot Dad sporting his sweet heart monitor! Rick started having strange heart beats on Tuesday night and when he woke up on Wed morning they were more frequent and a bit more scarier to him so he drove himself down to instant care (I did offer to take him) and from there he got an ambulance ride to the ER! The hospital ran some tests and Rick will only be wearing the monitor for a day and then we will know more. Rick's heart is beating irregularly but the Doctor doesn't think it is anything life threating at this stage. We will know more in a few days. I give an update in about a month since that is about my average for blogging.

Love ya babe!

Girls just want to have fun!

Me picking up my bestest friend from High School!
Allison had this excellent idea we should have a girls day in Park City. I could not agree more so here we are 3 months later doing it! I had a blast.

First stop was the Gateway in SLC. We ate somewhere sushie I can't even spell it that is how much I like it. But I was able to get chicken on a stick and it was super yummy! Allison LOVES to shop! I do too but I hate going with my kids. We shopped at the Gateway for about 4-5 hours! I have not done that since high school for school clothes and I was able to actually try stuff on!

We found the Batemobile on our way back to the car! We were both to chiken to sit on it and get a picture incase the alarm sounded.

After all that shopping and walking around we were soooo hungrey!
I made a heart with my food it was so good.

We have such BIG Smiles cuz we couldn't keep from laughing for a fake smile. I guess we were having too much fun!

The ski lift was ropped off and closed,
but that didn't stop us from taking some pictures

We hit the factory outlets the next day

heading back to the car after lunch
We were racing the clock on the way back to the airport
so Allison wouldn't miss her flight.

We had planned on doing the zipline, alpine slides, and the roller coaster but the rain wasn't agreeing with us so we decided we would do it next year! Yes that's right, we had so much fun that this is now an annualy event! Thank You Allison for such a great time. Till next year.

Thank You Rick for taking care of the kids so I could go. To finish the weekend off right, Rick and I went to the movies without the kids. What a great weekend. I do love my kids. It was just so nice to have some ME time.
