VEGAS BABY!

With a five hour delay, we are finally on the plane!

To my surprise Johnny was waiting for me!
We ate at The House of Blues twice while we were here.
Both times were good.Rick and I with my best buds from High School.
Al and Vic were High School Sweethearts and still are.

Strolling the Strip

This looked good but tasted like crap. My butt thanks you!

Al and the boys

We tried to book rooms at Mandalay Bay so we could play in the wave pool, but the whole place was already booked! So we stayed at the Four Seasons and still had all access to everything Mandalay Bay had to offer!! We even had a secret entrance from Mandalay's Casino to the Four Seasons elevator.
Rick LOVED the wave pool!
It was so much fun for me to watch him play in it.
He was like a little boy with excitement all over his face!

Us on the SWEET TRAM that is a waste of time to ride!
It is a hike to get on it everytime, one might as well just walk the strip.

At dinner after our show. We went to Mystere and it was totally awesome!
We also checked out The Bodies and Titanic exhibits. Titanic was my favorite. It really made me realise how stupid the human race is and made me question what things are we doing today that we will look back on and feel the same way we do about Titanic. I can think of a few. Why is it so hard for us to treat others how we want to be treated?

Eating at the Pink Toco
It was delicious!

In some richie mall hanging out with the water tornados!

Leaving the Four Seasons

On the shuttle back to our cars

We had a great time just hanging out with great company, eating great food, playing in the pool, laying on the beach, checking out the sites, and not watching any kids. The time away was wonderful but we were all ready to come home and give our kids big hugs and kisses. Thanks for a great time Al and Vic! And Thank You to Rick's mom for watching our kids so we could go.

CAMP HENRY RENDEZVOUS

THE GRAND TETONS

To get to camp, you had to cross this scary bridge. The water was high and super Fast. This picture doesn't do it justice. If a kid fell in, they would be down stream in a hurray.

Gavin throwing the Tomohawk!
It stuck in the middle.

Triumphant Tomohawk Hold

We went on a little hike to the original site of Camp Henry. While we were there it started to rain so we found some shelter in a horse stall looking thing.

When there was a break in the rain we headed back to camp. We weren't fast enough, the second round came and it was worse than the first.

Rick and I

Best Buds

The Candy Cannon!
All the kids loved this cannon. They would fill it up and fire it off.
The candy would fly through the air and all the kids went crazy!

Hannah is so funny. She loves to talk to anybody that will listen.

Hannah with "Grandma Grizzly". Grandma Grizzly helped all the kids that came to the Rendezvous make dream catchers. Hannah just loved her! She kept going back and visiting her through out the day. Grandma Grizzly nicknamed Hannah " Clover Blossom"

The Rendezvous was fun but not really a safe place for little kids. I was constantly on edge watching the kids. Between the gun, bow, tomohawk, and knife throwing contest and I can't leave out the river that would swallow my children up.
Amazingly we all make it home safe and sound.
