A busy week

Last week was a busy week for us. I am just now making the time to update. Of course we had Love Day! I decided to take Valentines Day into my own hands this year. I got Rick and I a room at the The Grand America here in Salt Lake. We got a couples message, ordered room service every meal, and some other stuff:) Thank You to The Keetch's for watching our kids. We had a great time!

Hope everybody else had a great Love Day too.

Will You be my Valentine?

Feb 12th was Gavin's 4th Birthday and he got spoiled!

My sister-in-law was able to get us a sweet deal.

Gavin was so shocked! I loved it. He just looked and walked around the Gator for a full minute before he jumped in. He loves it! He is still driving it every day.

Taking the first spin around the block.

Gavin's Birthday Party!
We had a Pirate Party, Gavin had a blast with all his friends.

All the kids were playing downstairs and we caught Hannah eating the leftovers!

On Feb. 11th Rick took some time out for himself and got Lasik surgery!

A cookie before surgery

Align CenterRick's eye is up on the TV screen and he is lying down on the machine that cuts the flap that they pull back and then use the lasers to correct the vision.

Rick is now loving his new eyes! It has taken him about a week for his eyes to not drive him crazy. He said they just felt so dry all the time. The worst part about it is he has to wear these sweet goggles to sleep in so he doesn't rub his eyes. I don't mind the goggles, it is the snoring like a monster that is the hardest part. The goggles hurt Rick when he sleeps on his side so he refuses to roll over. I already sleep with ear plugs in. I'm up for any suggestions for blocking out the Snore Monster.

I'll get a picture of the new and improved Slick Rick on the next update. I will say, I been married to Rick for almost 10 years now and I am just now noticing how pretty his eyes are. They are a real pretty golden brown...he is a well fed vampire:)

Zane ands Ny had such a fun time at Gavin's party. They are still playing with the Pirate party favors. Thanks for the invite.

I am glad that Rick was able to get lasik. I have only heard great things about it. I love the picture with the goggles, and the one with the yellowish orangeish circles on his eyes. Does he know you posted those? Too funny!

Sorry to hear about the snoring. Have you tried breathe-right strips?

Sounds like you had a great Valentine's get away! Hey there is nothing wrong with a little spoiling in my book.
I found your blog through my neighbor Ashley. Are you loving all the wind today?
