New Moon, Friends, and Limo!

BECOMING A SHE WOLF!

I like many enjoy getting out and having a great time. I tend to go a little over board with costume ideas and this is what I came up with to show some love for the wolfs, since New Moon is mostly about Jacob and Bella.
This really is a coyote hide that my brother in law let me borrow for the big night! A lot of people asked if it was real. LOL I am from Idaho and yes it was once alive. I loved that I could then say it was hanging in my sister's house. Thanks Chris for letting me borrow one of your trophies.

I won a limo ride at one of our neighborhood get togethers this last summer! Lucky me but what was I going to do with a limo ride...and then it came to me that we should fill it up and and have a ladies night out. For sure I could fill it up friends that wanted to go see New Moon and that is exactly what I did. It was so much fun dressing up and having a great time with everyone!

I was amazed to see such talent with food! We had a great time. This was a Boy Scouts fundraiser and all the houses were auctioned off. They also had folk dancing and cookie decorating and hot chocolate. We had a great time!

Aston Martin Vanquish Baby!

Well... this really isn't my new car. Rick's business partner Kody is the proud owner of this James Bond car. He let us take it for a day before the weather turned ugly. I hate to say it but I drove it like a granny! I only got it up to 50 mph but I could totally feel the power this baby packs while shifting. It was a joy to drive!

Provo Halloween Half Marathon!

I woke to the sound of the alarm going off at 4:50am Halloween morning. How I thought this was going to fun I don't know. We left for Provo canyon at 5:45am there was no turning back once I was in the car. Celest is the one who won me over to running this race. I thought it would be fun to run with a cape. I have great memories with my Big Brother Branden who is 6 years older than me entertaining me with the idea that once I turned around 3 times in a circle I would transform into Wonder Woman and kick his butt all over the place! I sometimes still threaten him with " Don't make me turn around!" Plus I figured I could use all the super powers I could get to finish my first half marathon. So Wonder Woman I was.

As mad as I was at Rick for NOT getting a picture of me crossing the finish line, I am glad he brought the kids out to cheer me on and give me big hugs once I finished!
It took me 2 Hours and 1 Minute to run 13.1 Miles
In my age from 30-34 I place 49th out of 113 women

Well, I did it! I have been training to run the St. George half marathon on January 23rd so I ran this one a little earlier than planed. I just couldn't resist not running in a costume especially with a cape! Silly I know but I am so glad I did it. I now know what to expect and how much more I can push my body the next time I race. I had a blast!
